Kirk Bereuter:

Kirk is an alumnus of the Kansas City Art Institute, where he focused his talents on the production and study of environmental sculpture, which subsequently led to a master's education in Landscape Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design. His past work as a senior project manager and staff landscape architect at other area design firms has provided him with both national and international design experience in federal/national park, urban design/city area mixed-use, university campus & religious institution campus master-plan, multi-family residential, high-end single-family residential and US embassy compound master-plan design. Some of his more recent regional design work has been produced for the National Cathedral, IMF World Headquarters, Monticello Visitor Center, and Indiana University campus master-plan, which have received numerous AIA and ASLA local and national chapter honor & merit awards, DC area award for preservation and SCUP excellence in planning awards.  20+ years of work within the landscape architecture profession has produced a landscape architect who is sensitive and in tune with the technical and subtle building blocks of design which complement the broader brush-stroke concept development and visioning abilities that he possesses as a talented artist/designer.
