Past employment at Michael Vergason Landscape Architects, HNTB Corporation and Wet Design, has provided experience ranging from work on urban design/urban planning scale projects to institutional, commercial, residential and federal design. Some of his more recent regional design work has been produced for the National Cathedral, Chevy Chase Country Club, Monticello Visitor Center, DDOT urban design work and numerous federal embassy design projects.
Kirk's early work and study as a sculptor led him into a master's education and professional career within the field of landscape architecture. More than 15 years of work within the L.A. profession has honed and developed his full range of skills, creating a designer who is technically adept in the nuts-and-bolts production aspects of design, in conjunction with the conceptual/creative talents he possesses as an artist/designer.
