Back in 2013, KBLA contracted a mixed use retail/office development project located in the epicenter of where Del Ray, Old Town Alexandria & Potomac Yards collide.  Site design is currently being developed to provide new connective pedestrian /vehicular access circulation at the main residential street entrance, as well as facilitate the seamless integration and relationship between indoor/outdoor programmatic space.  Project hardscape, earth grading & organic design elements have also been developed to satisfy local area code compliance, on a parcel that sits within a transition between commercial & residential zones.  Project scope has been expanded to include both passive recreation park usage at adjacent public right of way area and enhanced secondary business frontage entrance along the Highway 1 corridor.  R.O.W. park area design also provides pedestrian connection and relationship to nearby Simpson Stadium Park.
