In late 2014, KBLA was brought into a collaboration with Conkey Architects, for the renovation and re-design of a 20 story condominium roof top.  The original roof membrane once offered the inhospitable environment of white gravel ballast and laundry vent perforations, encircling the perimeter of an adjacent stairwell column.  Proposed improvements introduced include a new outdoor lounge space, dinning areas, as well as a TV / Bar entertainment center, all of which are housed and organized within a new suspended pavement system & planter wall perimeter.
